It was the first day in a long time that was warm and spring was on the way. We decided on a whim to take a ride down to the river. We had the perfect dress that had been waiting for this moment. I have participated in a traveling dress group for the past two years. I knew this would be the perfect time to pull it out. Turns out I was right. We ran into the wild horses that roam the Salt River of Arizona. Yes, there are still wild horses that roam the West. How cool is that? They have been here since before 1902. In 2015, the US Forest service declared they be captured and removed. That was when the Salt River Management Group was created. They are here to protect and preserve these beautiful creatures.
